Glamping in a shepherd’s hut
Kewstoke, Somerset
Find inspiration, learn and relax at Woodspring Farm, a well-hidden jewel on National Trust Land, in the seaside village of Kewstoke.
Woodspring Farm specialises in courses on nature and nurture in Kewstoke, a lovely stretch of coastline just north of Weston-super-Mare.
Walk along Sand Point, a magnificent headland with stunning views across the Bristol Channel, or visit nearby Woodspring Priory, which was founded in 1210, and is now owned by the Landmark Trust.
If you don't fancy glamping, the Priory is available for holiday bookings, or you can stay in the gorgeous 5 star Church House Guest House, 4 star Owls Crest B&B, or the 3 star Commodore Hotel.
For a contrast climb up the ancient Monks Steps into Worlebury Woods and take a 40-minute walk to Weston seafront. From here you can spend the day getting into seaside mode – eat fish and chips and ice cream and go for hair-raising rides on the famous Grand Pier.
