‘Fly’ over the River Thames on the Emirates Air Line

Greenwich, London

Enjoy a flight across the Thames on the Emirates Air Line, the UK’s first urban cable car.

A ride on the cable car gives you a completely different way of seeing London, taking you over the river Thames between Royal Docks on the north side and Greenwich Peninsula on the south.  A round trip takes about 20 minutes with beautiful views over The O2, Old Royal Naval College, Canary Wharf, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Shard and the Thames Barrier.

Cabins arrive every 30 seconds and single flights usually last 10 minutes. (5 minutes before 9am and between 5pm and 6:30pm).

You can also visit the new Emirates Aviation Experience at the Emirates Air Line Greenwich Peninsula Terminal. Practise your take-off and landing skills using the world’s first public commercial aircraft simulator, interactive displays and life-size aircraft models.
