Discover markets, marinas and microbreweries

Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

Explore Yorkshire’s waterfront city with its array of cafes, independent galleries, award-winning dining, pop-up venues and its own brewery.

Hull has a fantastic waterfront to explore; take a stroll around the beautiful marina, the original heart of Hull’s maritime history. Visit the Spurn Lightship that helped mariners to navigate the River Humber for nearly 50 years.

Pay a visit to Hull’s old Fruit Market area, which has now been redeveloped to become home to Hull’s bohemian culture. Here you can sample Taste of England Gold Award winning fayre at 1884 Dock Street Kitchen, visit a microbrewery, or see a band at one of Hull’s newest venues, Fruit.

Stop in for a slice of cake at the uniquely named Thieving Harry’s, or visit the team at Oresome Gallery where you can try your hand at crafting beautiful jewellery, or just see what the experts have created.
