Birmingham may not be on the tip of every shopaholic’s lips, but a recent revitalisation of the shopping area has seen it blossom into the shopping capital of the Midlands. Bang in the centre is the Birmingham Bullring , with over 160 shops to explore, including Selfridges, it’s a shoppers’ paradise. In the north west, Liverpool and Manchester offer everything from glittering malls to obsessively run record stores. And in nearby Southport , located on the Sefton Coast, lies the famous shopping Mecca of Lord Street.
